Upgrade to Mappica Pro or manage an existing subscription.
Subscription Overview
Use the Subscription page to upgrade your workspace to Mappica Pro or modify team size, billing cycle, or payment method on an existing Pro subscription. The page also displays details of your current subscription including the number of team seats used and the current subscription period.
Upgrading to Pro
If your workspace is not yet on the Pro plan, select a team size and billing frequency on the Subscription page and then select Upgrade Workspace to Pro. This will take you to a Stripe billing page, where the final price, including any applicable taxes, will be calculated and displayed.
You can also choose to leave your existing workspace on the Starter plan and upgrade an entirely new workspace. To do this, click your workspace name in the top-left corner of the screen and select New Workspace from the dropdown menu.
Pro Benefits
When you upgrade to Mappica Pro, you receive access to a suite of features to support collaboration, customization, and support across your projects:
- Invite Your Team: Collaborate with your team by selecting the right team size for your workspace (options range from 5 to 100 users or more for enterprise customers).
- Expanded Project Limits: Create up to 100 visualizations, 100 datasets, and 100 basemaps per project—compared to only three of each on the Starter plan.
- Upload Custom Datasets and Basemaps: Upload datasets up to 20MB and basemaps up to 5MB in size. (The Starter plan allows dataset uploads up to 1MB and does not support basemap uploads.)
- Replace the Mappica logo: Add your own logo to visualization footers for a fully branded experience.
- Lookups: Use the Lookups page to assign colors to commonly used field names.
- Advanced Export Options: Export visualizations as SVG images to use in reports and for printing purposes. (On the Starter plan, exports are limited to JPG, JPEG, PNG, or GIF formats.)
- Priority Support: Enjoy priority access to our core team for fast, personalized support.
Renewal Notifications
Stripe sends an email notification one week before your account is set to renew. This notification is sent to the workspace owner’s email address.
Billing Frequency
You can choose between monthly or annual billing when subscribing to Mappica Pro. If your workspace is on a monthly plan, you can switch to the annual plan at any time. The change takes effect immediately, starting a new subscription period. You’ll be charged a prorated amount based on the annual subscription price, with a refund applied for the unused portion of your monthly plan.
Note: If your workspace is on the annual plan, switching to the monthly plan is not available.
Team Size
Mappica Pro offers team sizes that support 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 50, 75, or 100 users collaborating in a single workspace. You can update the team size at any time on the Subscription page.
- Increasing your team size without changing billing frequency takes effect immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current monthly or annual billing period. The amount is calculated as the cost of the new team size for the remainder of the current period, minus a credit for the unused portion of the current period at the previous team size.
- Increasing your team size and switching from monthly to annual billing also takes effect immediately, but initiates a new annual billing period. You'll be charged a prorated amount equal to the cost of the new annual subscription, minus a credit for the unused portion of the previous monthly subscription.
- Decreasing your team size takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Payment Methods
Update your payment method on the Subscription page by selecting the Update Payment Method button, which opens a secure checkout window on Stripe. Your new payment method will apply to the next automatic payment.
We accept major credit and debit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, and UnionPay). ACH payments are available for US bank accounts.
Payment Failure
If a payment fails, Stripe will attempt to charge the card four times over three weeks. For ACH payments, two retries are made within two weeks. If the payment fails, you’ll receive an email notification with instructions for updating your payment information. If all attempts fail, your subscription downgrades to the Starter plan.
Canceling a Subscription
If you cancel your subscription, you retain access to your Pro workspace until the end of the current billing period. After the billing period ends, Pro featureswill no longer be accessible. Published visualizations remain live unless you delete your workspace.
